Logan’s passion and dedication have driven the growth of Touch of Speis, transforming it from modest beginnings into a brand known for quality craftsmanship and unique designs.

Starting in a small, makeshift workspace, Logan’s commitment to his craft led to the expansion into a 1,100-square-foot garage, where he honed his skills and refined his processes. Today, Touch of Speis is on the verge of a new chapter, with the construction of a 3,000-square-foot, fully finished dream shop underway. We look forward to the journey ahead and to bringing our customers along with us as we continue to innovate, create, and craft exceptional custom pieces that add a personal touch to any space.

Our Story

My wife Katie and I are both small town kids, growing up just a few miles from one another. However, it wasn’t until our meeting, in 2015, at the county fair that we learned we shared something in common, pre-school. We attended and graduated from the same school taught by my mom, Gina. From there we realized we grew up around the same friend group, however, never fully met until one of our mutual friends introduced us.

Katie and I decided after only knowing each other for one month we would embark on a relationship that saw us through different states and countries while she pursued her military career. During this time, we spent most of our relationship distanced due to me owning another business and attending Paramedicine School. To further our distance from one another Katie would be deployed for a period of six months to Dubia. Upon her return home we got engaged. We married in October of 2019 and Katie returned home for good in 2021. In that same year we announced the birth of our first child, Oliver Kip.

Over the next year and a half, we accomplished many larger builds and growth in our small business. We truly began to transition from the mindset of DIY, basic materials, learn as we go shop into becoming skilled, high quality, custom furniture craftsmen. With a growing business also came a growing family. In July of 2023, we welcomed the final piece of our family, Mia Jo.

With our relationship being long distance for six years we learned some extremely valuable lessons. The first being, that if you truly want something to work you must put all efforts, and devotion towards it. You must work at it day in, day out, and build it into something unstoppable. From there we learned that communication is key and without it we would have been lost. Lastly, with our growth and addition of little Speiser’s, we learned that patience and teamwork is how we would continue to excel in our craft.

We now apply those same lessons and tactics to all things we do at TOSC. We strive on good customer support, communication, and the ability to turn visions into reality.
